Willard Water District Improvement Project Update – November 6, 2023

All services on Prospect Street have been switched to the new main. In addition, 2 new hydrants were installed, and 3 old hydrants were removed. The process to box-out areas on Prospect Street for repaving was begun as well.

This week will see continued boxing-out on Prospect Street and repaving of the areas.

The activities associated with properly mapping and marking the utilities along County Road 132A south from the intersection with County Road 132 are being delayed at the State level.

Based on the delays with the State, the winter closing of asphalt plants, and the inclement weather, once repaving is completed, all work may be suspended until next spring. Even if that turns out to be the case, the project continues to be well ahead of schedule.
