Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Officer performs inspections, assists in the enforcement of code and zoning regulations, and participates in planning and site plan review processes. They are responsible for approving building, plumbing, land use, signage permits; conducting land use, building inspections; enforcing municipal ordinances; maintaining liaison with appropriate state and local agencies; and maintaining office records and reports. They also provide administrative support to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
