Romulus, New York

TOWN OF ROMULUS OVERVIEW

The Township of Romulus developed from Military Tract Bounty Land given to veterans of the Revolutionary War.  Romulus was formed in 1794, which at that time encompassed all lands northward to the shores of Lake Ontario.

The Town is beautifully situated at the heart of the Finger Lakes between Seneca and Cayuga lakes.  Romulus is predominately agricultural and tourism centered while possessing a former military base that is actively working to develop business and employment opportunities.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE NEW OR
IMPROVED IN OUR COMMUNITY?

It starts with you, residents of the Towns of Covert, Lodi, Ovid and Romulus. STEPS is doing an assessment of the assets of the Neighborhood (defined as all four towns) through this survey and asking for you to share your ideas. We will appreciate you taking the time to give us your thoughts on what we can do to improve our entire neighborhood.
