TOWN OF ROMULUS OVERVIEW

The Township of Romulus developed from Military Tract Bounty Land given to veterans of the Revolutionary War.  Romulus was formed in 1794, which at that time encompassed all lands northward to the shores of Lake Ontario.   

The Town is beautifully situated at the heart of the Finger Lakes between Seneca and Cayuga lakes.  Romulus is predominately agricultural and tourism centered while possessing a former military base that is actively working to develop business and employment opportunities.

ROMULUS TOWN BOARD: The Next Romulus Town Board Meeting will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 7:00pm.

Anyone wishing to petition the town board please call the Wednesday before the date of the meeting.

ROMULUS HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Passengers Please Assemble for Sunken Boats!

The Romulus Historical Society will present a program on exciting

explorations and discoveries of this past summer in Seneca Lake.

Art Cohn, Director Emeritus of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum,

will discuss "Shipwrecks - What Lies Beneath?  Stories from Lake

Champlain and Seneca Lake." The illustrated lecture will take place

at the Romulus Town Hall, 1435 Prospect Street, Willard, New York

at 7:00pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018.  The Program is free

and open to the public.  Seating is limited.
